Main Functions Of Fluid Packaging Equipment Components
Mar 17, 2026
The components of fluid packaging equipment work together to complete the automated packaging process. Their core function is to achieve fully automated operation from raw material metering to finished product output, ensuring high efficiency, accuracy, and hygiene safety in packaging.
Conveying Module: Responsible for the stable conveying of packaging materials (such as roll film) or pre-made bags. It is typically driven by synchronous belts and motors, ensuring continuous packaging rhythm and precise positioning.
Bag Opening System: Includes a cylinder-driven opening mechanism and pneumatic grippers, used to automatically open the pre-made bag opening, preparing it for subsequent filling. Commonly found in pre-filled bag packaging machines.
Metering Device (e.g., pump body): One of the core components, used to precisely control the filling amount of fluid materials. Depending on the material characteristics, gear pumps, screw pumps, or peristaltic pumps can be selected, ensuring metering accuracy of ±0.5% to ±2%.
Bag Forming and Shaping Unit: In vertical packaging machines, the forming unit folds the roll film into the required bag shape (such as back seal or three-side seal), and works with the traction mechanism to achieve continuous bag making.
Heat-sealing module: Equipped with a heating strip and temperature control system, it achieves dual-path heat sealing of the bag opening, ensuring a strong, aesthetically pleasing, and contamination-free seal.
Cutting device: Automatically cuts the bag after sealing, forming an individual packaging bag. Some devices support easy-tear cutting or no-material alarm functions.
